Our Team
Residents here keep their own space, their own routines, and their own choices. When care is needed, it's never far away, day or night.
That's what the team below makes possible. Nurses and aides look after the health side of things, while a wider team keeps the meals coming, the activities running, and the building humming along, so residents can spend their time simply living.
Kathy Johnson, LALD
"I have found my career as a Licensed Assisted Living Director to be both meaningful and rewarding. What I enjoy most is the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of older adults by helping them maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life. I value being able to provide comfort during challenging times, celebrate residents' achievements and milestones, and create an environment where they feel safe, respected, and at home."
Tammy Esping, D.O.N.
"I enjoy helping staff grow professionally, encouraging teamwork, and making sure our residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is advocating for our residents and helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. I also enjoy working closely with families and providers. Although the role can be challenging, I find it very fulfilling. Knowing that my leadership, experience, and compassion can positively impact both residents and staff is what makes me proud to be a Director of Nursing."
Jessie Berckes, RN
"My focus is helping residents live full, empowered lives. I work directly with each individual to set personal health goals, foster as much independence as possible, and provide the care and education they need to thrive. Over my 34 years as an RN, I have served in various specialized roles across eldercare, and I am proud to bring that experience to our community every day."
Julie Bottelberghe
"I have enjoyed working as an Assisted Living Office Manager and HR Manager for the past 47 years because I have always found purpose in helping people. My work has allowed me to build relationships with residents, families, and employees while being part of a team that makes a difference in people's lives."
Justin Pesch
"I enjoy working at Minneota Assisted Living and Home Health as the Maintenance Manager. I know my work makes a positive difference in the life of the residents and staff. Keeping the property safe, clean and in good repair helps create a comfortable environment where residents, family, friends and staff can feel at home. I also enjoy the variety of tasks each day and the opportunity to interact with the residents and staff."
Andre Dionne
"I have loved cooking for as long as I can remember, but my passion is feeding people. I believe good food creates happiness, and the people I feed become like family to me. I visit daily with our residents to find out what their food likes and dislikes, so I can create menus that reflect their wishes. I love what I do, and I look forward to cooking for my extended family for many years to come."
